History
Oakland’s Public Works became an official Department in 2010, consolidating other various departments within Oakland’s municipality under one banner. These departments include the Water and Waste Water divisions as well as the Department of Building & Code Enforcement.
Oakland’s Public Works is also involved in the oversight of the town’s new sanitation agreement with All Star Waste Systems/Advanced Disposal.
